Special Offer for Public Hospital Patients - Percutaneous Coronary Intervention (PCI) Scheme

The Percutaneous Coronary Intervention (PCI) Scheme launched by the Cardiology Centre of CUHK Medical Centre (CUHKMC), aims to serve as an alternative option for patients who are currently on the waiting list for PCI at a hospital under Hospital Authority (HA) and wish to expedite their course of receiving the procedure. 

Eligibility：

• Permanent residents of Hong Kong
• Patients who hold a PCI procedure notice issued by HA hospitals* 
  OR
  Patients, who have been assessed by HA physicians, and are recommended to undergo PCI or other related coronary intervention e.g. turned down coronary artery bypass graft (CABG)*
  *To be eligible to participate in the PCI scheme, applicants are required to undergo assessment to be conducted by specialists in cardiology of CUHKMC, where the specialist will assess patient’s health conditions to determine if one is suitable to undergo PCI.
